چکیده
INTRODUCTION: SARS-CoV-2 develops well in the oral mucosa because, it is first contact area with virus. The highly expressed angiotensin-converting enzyme 2 (ACE2) and makes virus replicated epithelial cells produce both lesions symptoms. This review aimed to describe mucosal symptoms related SARS-CoV-2-infected patients that have been reported around world.EVIDENCE ACQUISITION: A literature search was performed on PubMed, ScienceDirect Google Scholar, from February October 5, 2020, focusing COVID-19 (SARS-CoV-2) symptoms.EVIDENCE SYNTHESIS: Eighteen studies were identified a total of 25 cases describing infection. infection included dysgeusia, ageusia, burning mouth sensation, dry severe halitosis. varied ulceration depapilation pseudomembranous, maculae, nodules plaque. skin form crusty lips, multiple ulcerations rashes, targeted lesions, blisters vesiculobullous lesions.CONCLUSIONS: manifestations cavity are non-specific. occur mimic Herpes zoster infection, simplex Varicella hand, foot disease, (e.g. erythema multiforme).

SARS-CoV-2 infection: its psychiatric manifestations
Background: The clinical presentation of SARS-CoV-2 infection was initially dominated by respiratory symptoms. However the clinical spectrum is wide and neuropsychiatric syndromes are also a source of medical concern. Our aims are to present an atypical clinical presentation of SARS-CoV-2 infection characterized by auditory hallucinations and unusual behavior and to emphasize the diversity of ...
متن کاملThe Comparison of Susceptibility to SARS-CoV-2 Infection between Pediatric and Adults
SARS-CoV-2 causes coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) and is responsible for the recent pandemic in the world. It has been recently recognized as a challenge for public health and a significant cause of severe illness in all age groups. Young children and older people are susceptible to SARS-CoV-2 infection. However, children usually present mild symptoms compared to adult patients. The relatio...
متن کاملThe effect of SARS-COV-2 infection on the hematological markers
Background and Aim: The novel coronavirus 2019 can lead to a vast range of respiratory complications, from mild to severe, driving to acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS). Common symptoms of Covid-19 include fever, fatigue, and dry cough, which can lead to complications, such as gastrointestinal disorders, and liver, cardiac, and renal dysfunctions. Alteration in the hematological markers...
متن کاملThe pivotal link between ACE2 deficiency and SARS-CoV-2 infection
Angiotensin converting enzyme-2 (ACE2) receptors mediate the entry into the cell of three strains of coronavirus: SARS-CoV, NL63 and SARS-CoV-2. ACE2 receptors are ubiquitous and widely expressed in the heart, vessels, gut, lung (particularly in type2 pneumocytes and macrophages), kidney, testisand brain. ACE2 is mostly bound to cell membranes and only scarcely present in the circulation in a s...
متن کاملASSESSMENT OF TUMOR MARKERS IN BENIGN, DYSPLASTIC AND MALIGNANT ORAL MUCOSAL LESIONS
Immunohistochemical demonstration of tumor-associated markers may be valuable as an adjunct to conventional histology for determination of malignancy development in oral mucosal diseases. Accordingly, the present study determined the distribution of some important tumor markers such as heat shock proteins (HSP), fibroblast growth factors (FGF) and transferrin receptors (TF-R) in 22 samples ...
